New Client Info

How do I become a client?

If you are interested in becoming a client please call me at (413) 687-5920 for a free 10 minute consultation to discuss your concerns and goals. If we determine that I would be a good fit for your treatment needs and our schedules are compatible we will schedule an intake appointment. Please note that if you reach my voicemail it is confidential.

*Voicemail should never be used for emergencies. If you have an emergency please go to your local emergency room or call the crisis services hotline (see Resources tab).

What are intake appointments?

Intake appointments are the first appointment you will have with me. They are between 50-60 minutes. We will discuss a little bit of everything! I find that what needs to come up, will come up. Often this includes some family and life history, current struggles, your innate strengths, gifts & talents. Basically whatever your soul believes I need to know in order to best help you. Prior to your first appointment, please complete all paperwork and submit it to me electronically or via US Postal Service.

How long are ongoing appointments?

Individual therapy sessions are 45 minutes. Some people prefer to meet a little longer or a little shorter, so I also offer 60 or 25 minute sessions.

Please note, beginning after your scheduled time deducts from your session as the person who is scheduled after you would like to begin their session on time.

Session Costs

Initial Session & 60 Minute sessions: $250

45 Minute Session: $200

25 Minute Session: $75

I am no longer taking new clients with insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits & would like to use your insurance I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What's your cancellation policy?

To cancel, or to reschedule your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. This allows me to offer your time to someone else (I often have people waiting for the preferred after-school and evening time slots).

In the case of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours notice) or a no-show, you are responsible for the $100 no-show fee (or the $50 fee for a 25 Minute session time slot).

Please know that the reason for this fee is twofold: as a therapist in private practice I am not paid when you are not here; additionally, I am only able to take on a limited number of clients to ensure that you receive the highest quality care and will have access to the limited number of available time slots.

Current clients are provided a full copy of my No-Show & Late Cancellation Agreement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is due at the beginning of each session.

I use Ivy Pay, a HIPPA compliant electronic payment system that accepts debit, credit, and flexible spending account cards. I also accept Venmo.
